*NOTE:
Open Delta Connected and Wye Connected refer to connection patterns within three phase transformers that have different applications.

Most significantly, in the Wye connected transformer voltage will be the same between any two of the three wires in a three phase transformer. In a Delta Connected transformer the power is always less when connecting any one of the power wires to the neutral than when connecting  two power wires.

These differences make the two configurations valuable for certain differing applications, so the customer is advised to consult the experts at TEMCo in choosing which Jefferson Buck Boost Transformer to order.
